FAQ

Got questions? We’ve got answers. Whether you’re stuck on something small or just want to learn how it all works, our FAQ’s here to help.

Project and Product

  1. What is PotatoSwap? What are its core features? PotatoSwap is building one-stop infrastructure for X Layer’s DeFi ecosystem, combining a high-performance spot DEX (AMM) with a native launchpad for new projects. You can swap permissionlessly (no accounts / no KYC, self-custody), provide liquidity to earn trading fees, and join points & campaigns designed to reward active LPs and contributors.

  2. Which blockchain ecosystem is PotatoSwap deployed on? PotatoSwap is X Layer–native and focuses on building within the X Layer ecosystem.

  3. What trading pairs does PotatoSwap mainly support? PotatoSwap supports token pairs that exist and have liquidity on X Layer. Common examples mentioned in the docs include pairs like WOKB/USDT0 (and similar ecosystem pairs). For the most accurate and up-to-date list, refer to the Swap and Pools pages in the our UI.

  4. What is CLMM? How does it improve capital efficiency and reduce slippage?

CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker) allows liquidity to be placed within a specific price range instead of across all prices. This concentrates liquidity around the active trading range, typically improving capital efficiency and helping traders get tighter execution when liquidity is dense in-range.

  5. What are V2 and V3? What’s the difference?

    • V2 (classic pools): a simpler model with a single 0.25% swap fee.

    • V3 (CLMM): concentrated liquidity with multiple fee tiers per pool (e.g., 0.01% / 0.05% / 0.30% / 1.00%). V3 positions can be represented as NFT / LP position tokens, because each position can have its own range and settings.

  6. How do I add and remove liquidity on PotatoSwap? Please refer to our Features > Earn/Yield Farming > How to add/remove liquidity in v3arrow-up-right.

  7. How do I check my earnings and trading fees?

For V3 positions, your UI will show Unclaimed Fees on the position. Use Collect to claim fees (and to finalize withdrawals after removing liquidity).

  8. How do I add image to my token? If your token isn’t on the default list, there will not be any image shown on the token. You can still trade it — Manage Tokens → paste CA → add to token list. However, if you want it on the default list, please fill up the formarrow-up-right. Inclusion in the PotatoSwap Public Token List is at the sole discretion of the PotatoSwap core team.

Token

  1. What is PotatoSwap’s tokenomics model? When will the token launch?

PotatoSwap’s tokenomics thesis is community-first distribution, with “majority ownership” intended to be driven over time via ongoing liquidity mining, and long-term contributor vesting for alignment. Exact allocation %, emissions, vesting cliffs, and timelines are still in discussion and subject to change, to be finalized after internal discussion and partner feedback.

  2. How will PotatoSwap’s token be deeply tied to OKB utility?

PotatoSwap states an aligned treasury approach, where a portion of the treasury will be held as OKB/USDT LP tokens on PotatoSwap to strengthen OKB pair liquidity and reinforce PotatoSwap’s role as X Layer’s liquidity backbone.

Security

  1. How does PotatoSwap protect users and funds? Has it been audited? PotatoSwap's smart contracts are open-source and publishes third-party audit reports, including:

    • V2 audit by BlockSec (core contracts such as Factory/Router)

    • V3 audit by ScaleBit (v3 contracts)

Audit reports can be found under Auditsarrow-up-right. Audits reduce risk, but users should still practice safe habits (verify URLs, confirm contract addresses, and manage approvals carefully).

Roadmap

  1. What is PotatoSwap’s latest roadmap and key milestones?

    • Shipped: CLMM V1 (concentrated liquidity engine)

    • Planned (2026 and beyond): Launchpad infrastructure, yield vaults (GMX-style), and CLOB perps trading

    • Growth: memecoin accelerator, trading competitions, points system, and creator/KOL campaigns

  2. Will PotatoSwap support more assets or expand cross-chain? PotatoSwap’s positioning is X Layer–native and 100% focused on building within the X Layer ecosystem. New tokens, pools, and incentives may continue to be added on X Layer; cross-chain plans should be treated as future/optional unless officially announced.
